Congratulations to our honorees!

Diana Davis Spencer and Kevin Plank

On April 24, 2014, NFTE DC joined with NFTE’s entire global family to host the annual international gala. It was an extraordinary evening that celebrated not only NFTE DC’s 20th Anniversary, but also the accomplishments of our students and teachers from around the world. One thousand of our biggest champions were on-hand at the National Building Museum to support NFTE students and honor both Diana Davis Spencer and Kevin Plank. Thank you to all participants and attendees for making this event a resounding success!

2014 Global Young Entrepreneurs

2014 Global Enterprising Educators

Since 1987, the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE) has been inspiring young people to pursue educational opportunities, start their own businesses, and succeed in life. NFTE is the only global nonprofit organization solely focused on bringing entrepreneurship education to youth in low-income communities.

To date, NFTE programs have served over 500,000 young people globally and 25,000 locally. Currently, NFTE programs are active in 12 countries and 21 U.S. states. Here in the DC Region, we have programs in 29 schools and reach close to 1,100 young people annually.
